roc the block Party _ cityhope (1).png

why roc the block?

We value the people and families around us and recognize the power that good community truly provides. We chose to host ROC the Block to create a safe, fun-filled environment for the community to share space and time together, play some games, have a meal, and connect with community resources. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • What does the Wesleyan Church believe?
The Wesleyan church has a rich history of standing up for the misunderstood and vulnerable, accepting all people as equal in the kingdom of God. We were one of the very first churches involved in both abolition and women's rights movements. Wesleyan's believe that God gives us free will and that we are meant to pursue holiness as best as we can in our lives. We affirm God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit as the Holy Trinity. We believe in the Bible- that it is the inspired Word of God, living and active, relevant even today. If you want to know more about what the Wesleyan denomination believes visit our denomination's website HERE to learn more!
